Adams, Brown, Beran & Ball Announces New Principal
Adams, Brown, Beran & Ball, Chartered is pleased to announce Meagan Wellbrock, CPA has been promoted to principal.
“Since joining the firm, Meagan has shown dedication to clients, the firm and the profession,” said Brian Staats, CPA, CGMA, managing partner of Adams, Brown, Beran & Ball. “We are confident she will continue to serve the firm’s clients and develop other accountants in her new role.”
Wellbrock joined Adams, Brown, Beran & Ball as a full-time staff member in 2007 after interning during her undergraduate studies. She manages audit engagements and consults on managerial and operational concerns. Additionally, she manages the firm’s Hays office and is the audit and attestation service line leader for the firm. Wellbrock graduated summa cum laude from Fort Hays State University with a Bachelor of Business Administration and also holds a certification in Lean Six Sigma Green Belt.
Wellbrock is a member of the American Institute of Certified Public Accountants (AICPA) and the Kansas Society of Certified Public Accountants (KSCPA), where she also serves on the Audit and Assurance Task Force. She was named the AICPA and KSCPA’s “Women to Watch” Emerging Leader in 2015 and is a KSCPA “20 up to 40” graduate. In her community, she serves as treasurer for CASA of the High Plains. Wellbrock resides in her hometown of Victoria, with her husband, Scott. She counts playing and watching sports among her favorite pastimes, as well as reading, singing, playing the piano, and spending time with family and friends.
