Local Accountant Earns Lean Six Sigma Certification
Adams, Brown, Beran & Ball, Chartered (ABBB) is pleased to announce Nicole Koelsch, CPA recently achieved the CPA Green Belt certification with Lean Six Sigma.
“This certification is a testament to Nicole’s dedication to her work and clients,” said Brian Staats, CPA, managing partner at ABBB. “We extend sincere congratulations to Nicole.”
To earn this certification, participants attend a week long training session to learn the principles of Lean Six Sigma and apply them in simulations. The participants are then required to facilitate a project at their workplace utilizing the concepts, techniques and project tools applicable to Lean Six Sigma.
These project tools are submitted to a certified Lean Six Sigma Master Black Belt and graded, to ensure the concepts are being properly applied. Once approved by the Master Black Belt, the certification process is complete.
Zink joined the firm in 2012 and currently serves as a manager in the Great Bend office. She received both her Master of Accountancy and Bachelor of Science in Business Administration degrees from Kansas State University. Zink is a member of the AICPA and the Central Kansas Chapter of the KSCPA. Zink is a current resident of Claflin, Kansas.
