Vickie L. Dreiling
Partner
”Whether it means giving my clients a phone call to see how they are doing or sending them articles that may be of interest to them, I always strive to personalize the services I provide. This helps clients to know I am genuinely interested in their success.“

Vickie has been part of the team at Adams, Brown, Beran & Ball, Chartered (ABBB) since 1991 when she first entered the public accounting field. In her current role as partner, she works within the tax and audit departments at the firm’s Great Bend, Kansas office location. Vickie focuses her practice on providing audit services for governmental entities and school districts. In addition, she specializes in income tax preparation for individuals, corporations, partnerships, estates and trusts.

Prior to joining ABBB, Vickie spent six years in the private accounting sector. Most recently, she worked for two years at K1 Cablesystems, Inc. Vickie began her career at Davis Mud & Chemical, Inc., where she spent four years.

Throughout her career, Vickie’s reputation as a dedicated and patient service provider has played an integral role in her clients’ success. In one instance, she assisted a newly appointed City Clerk with the reconciliation of monthly bank accounts for a full year, as well as the preparation of the necessary adjustments to reconcile their books. In addition, Vickie stepped in as a client’s outsourced CFO for approximately two months while the organization searched for a replacement for a previous employee.

While it’s something she does very rarely these days, Vickie’s passion for accounting stems from her first experiences with bookkeeping during high school. Today, she takes great pride in the final product and end result she delivers to her clients, which has resulted in her success as a professional. Vickie also credits her parents, who taught her to try her best at whatever she does because it is a reflection on her.

Vickie grew up on a farm near Victoria, Kansas with her parents and five siblings. After marrying her high school sweetheart, David, they made their home in Great Bend where they raised their two children. In her free time, Vickie can often be found partaking in a variety of craft activities, including scrap-booking, sewing, cross-stitching, knitting and crocheting. She also enjoys baking and volunteering at her church. She and her husband have two adult daughters.
